New NICE guidelines for hearing loss in adults
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has published new guidelines for hearing loss in adults.
‘Hearing Loss in Adults: assessment and management’ covers some aspects of assessing and managing hearing loss in primary, community and secondary care.
Its aim is to improve the quality of life for adults, aged over 18, with hearing loss by educating healthcare staff on how to assess hearing difficulties, managing earwax and referring individuals to audiology teams.
Hearing Link features in the guide too, signposting readers to our Helpdesk support.
