Deafness affects partners too, new research finds

Research by the University of Nottingham has found that partners of people who have lost their hearing experience frustration, anger and upset. The research team reviewed 78 studies about the impact of deafness and those closest to them. Partners reported becoming socially isolated and exhausted. UK employers encouraged to join Disability Confident scheme
