Community outreach sessions – Edinburgh

This month, we are celebrating the start of a new drop-in service in Edinburgh.

This is being offered alongside the monthly hearing support services already taking place in Lauriston Audiology and London.

It is held in one of the city libraries in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support (MacMillan @ Edinburgh Libraries) who host information and support centre in the facility.

The library is already a dispenses hearing aid batteries and anyone accessing this service receives a card promoting the sessions.

Our peer support volunteers, Catherine and Elaine, had a warm welcome, from staff, the public and a… giraffe! It was a positive start to a new service.
